Ear Wax Removal

There are several options for the safe removal of wax from ears.
We offer treatments for excessive earwax build-up and blocked ears. Earwax build-up can cause a variety of symptoms and problems, such as hearing impairment, ear pain or discomfort, tinnitus, dizziness, and reduced effectiveness of hearing aid devices. If you’ve noticed any of these problems, don’t hesitate to get in touch with us! In most cases, earwax removal can alleviate these problems almost instantly.
Ear irrigation, previously known as ear syringing, is used less commonly today since the introduction of Microsuction. However, it is still an effective way of removing excessive earwax and cleaning the ear canal.
A gentle, low-pressured flow of water is used to flush earwax out of the ear canal. The ear is then dried, and your tympanic membrane (eardrum) is inspected to ensure it is healthy. Post-procedure, we will advise you on the best ear hygiene practices to keep your ears healthy.
Microsuction is the most effective and preferred method for earwax removal among ear specialists for blocked ears we will advise on your visit which is best fro you.
Microsuction uses gentle, low-level suction to delicately extract earwax through a thin tube, without the need for water. It is performed under the guidance of a microscope which provides a full view of the ear canal ensuring wax is removed precisely and safely. .
Microsuction is considered a safer and more effective technique for earwax removal compared to traditional methods, such as irrigation or ear drops. Since Microsuction does not involve the use of water, the risk of infection is reduced.
Additionally, the procedure is performed using a microscope which provides direct vision throughout, this ensures precise earwax removal without damaging the ear canal or eardrum.
